
The NSO's Go Observing tool allows teachers and students to request and download images from the Liverpool Telescope. It has been designed to simplify the process of scheduling observations on a robotic telescope, so that users can request observations with just a few clicks of the mouse.
The observations on offer come from a target database of several hundred pre-selected objects, which were chosen to be interesting, suitably bright and to fit nicely into the field-of-view of the CCD detector. Using the Go Observing system means that users do not have to worry about the following technical issues:
