There are many careers available in the space sector, outside of being an astronomer. Of course the most famous is that of an astronaut, but there are a whole host of other careers needed in order to get an astronauts into space, or launch a satellite or telescope. This can include engineers, technicians, nutritionists and health experts, data analysts, and designers. It can also involve other, new, types of science like astrobiology, astrochemistry and Earth observation specialists.
