Using LTImage

LTImage Software

The NSO has created some easy to use software to help you view the images you get back from the Liverpool Telescope (LT). This image processing tool also lets you do real science, analysing the images. It is called LTImage.

LTImage is freely available image and has been made to simplify the process of analysing data from telescopes. Most other free processing software is too complex for use in schools. 

LTImage can work with all image data that are in the FITS image format. This means that it can work with images from most professional telescopes around the world as well as our own LT.
