Work Experience Week 2019

Work Experience Week 2019
Another year, another amazing work experience week! The Astrophysics Research Institute and LJMU sponsor an amazing week of learning and fun for 16 to 18 year olds. Each year we have around 70 applications to sort through to pick the lucky few who come and spend a week with us learning all about astrophysics, telescopes, and the careers you can lead. The students then are split into groups to complete a short research project. Each group has a supervisor to guide them, but their work is independently led and culminates in a 2000 word report and group presentation.

"It was a brilliant experience and much better than any other work experience placement i could have got. it's taught me to deal with data really well and it's great for future applications/personal statements.
