September 2018 Full Moon

The Image of the Month for September 2018 is a 30-image mosaic of the full moon that occurred on the morning of the 24th September. The observation of each segment of the 'Moonsaic' had an exposure time of 3 seconds and was observed using the H-Alpha-6566 filter. The image has been sharpened slightly to accentuate the details of the surface but the brightnesses, contrasts and any other potential cosmetic application of the surface have been left untouched.
