Congratulations to pgoldsmith18 who submitted this beautiful image of Messier 1 a.k.a. The Crab Nebula which we have chosen as our May competition winner.

i recently searched the archive for pictures of messier 1 and then put the images through LT image. i like the way this turned out because the green highlights the middle of the nebular and the outside has a tint of red"
