What your school will receive:
- A passionate STEM ambassador, specially trained to work with young people and spark curiosity through engaging, real-world science.
- A series of six cross-curricular mini-investigations, each designed to explore the challenges of getting humans to Mars while reinforcing key curriculum topics.
- Four in-person visits to your school by the STEM ambassador across one term, providing consistent engagement and expert support.
- Resources, training, and materials to deliver three teacher-led sessions in your classroom.
- Two CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events for your school’s lead teacher, held at Liverpool John Moores University — offering opportunities to network, receive specialist training, and access equipment.
- Cover costs reimbursed so your school can release staff to attend the CPD events.
- An engagement programme to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific skills in your students — all aligned with the national curriculum’s Earth and Space topic.
- A reward package upon completion, including a space-themed library book set, a Mars surface canvas, and five Arduino robots for your school.
- Invites to future events for your students and training opportunities for your staff>
